Closing Date: 10th June 2025The location of this vacancy is negotiable within the LHD.Candidates will need to be available for interview on Friday 14/06/24 or Monday 17/06/24.What you'll be doingThe Director of Communications and Strategic Relations is responsible for leading the Strategic Relationships and communication aligned to the delivery of NSW Health and Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) priorities and operational delivery plans. The role also provides high-level strategic communications advice and support to the Local Health District’s Governing Board, Chief Executive, Leadership Team and Senior Leaders.The role is required to continuously develop approaches and current methodologies that underpin the creation of a healthy organizational culture. This includes team engagement, communication and workplace excellence which develops and supports and empowers clinicians, administration, and frontline staff in decision-making, driving change and improving patient services.The Director has day-to-day autonomy in directing and managing operations within functional responsibilities and deploying its resources within the overall budget allocation.All decisions are informed by MNCLHD Delegations Manual, Code of Conduct and relevant legislation and policy directives of the Ministry of Health.The role reports to the Chief Executive of the Mid North Coast Local Health District.Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.
