About W living:
At W Living we spark better ways for living by working better together as a portfolio, across our Group and with our partners. We are a new portfolio and growth adjacency in Woolworths Group with a vision to create connected destinations for everyday needs, bringing together four businesses - BIG W, Woolworths MarketPlus, Healthylife and now Petstock Group.
Since forming W Living, we have landed some exciting things together including; launching Woolworths MarketPlus (WMP), standing up our first CFC in partnership with NP Fulfilment, the introduction of BIG W Market powered by WMP, the launch of Healthylife pharmacy with same day delivery powered by HomeRun, EDR burn in MyDeal and most recently completing our acquisition of Petstock Group. It is the most exciting time to join this new portfolio!
The role:
Reporting to the MD, W Living and playing a critical role in their newly formed leadership team you'll be tasked with growing the Customer Lifetime Value and future performance across the W Living portfolio. By establishing a deep understanding of our customer trends and data, you'll be accountable for leading, creating and driving through our Connected Customer strategies and propositions.
Responsibilities will include but limited to:
Creating connected propositions across our portfolio businesses and Woolworths Group to grow CLV and fuel future performance, working closely with our Everyday Rewards, idX and Cartology partners
Creating a community of practices across the W Living Portfolios which are connected to Group Platform Home teams for Strategy, Transformation Enablement and Customer Insights
Developing innovative customer-led approaches to identify customer demand signals, activate customer macro-segments at the portfolio level and develop customer micro-segments with our businesses
Developing the W Living portfolio strategy, lead the facilitation and development of the AOP and support the inaugural strategies for Pet, specialty health and fulfilment.
Defining the framework on share of wallet across our portfolio businesses, working with the Group Customer and Group Strategy teams to activate.
Working in an entrepreneurial, agile, highly connected E2E way across the portfolio and Woolworths Group
You'll bring:
5+ years experience operating as General Manager / Director in a business lead and / or Strategy/Customer Transformation Director in a successful retail and ecommerce business with significant board exposure
A passion for customer with extensive experience across aspects of the customer lifecycle
Experience working across, and influencing through complex organisational ecosystems
Gravitas, commercial mindset and impactful negotiation skills
Confident and effective decision-making skills with extensive experience in building and developing highly effective teams
Experience in creating and developing and leading successful strategies and delivery plans to budget
Well-developed commercial acumen and proven ability to develop accurate business cases and activity plans that met or exceeded revenue/cost hurdles.
