An organisational restructure has created the Director of Finance position. As an active leader of a small, highly proficient finance team, you will influence significant commercial outcomes and efficiencies through the insights and analysis provided.
Reporting to the CEO, the key challenges in the role are to:
- Facilitate improved strategic decision-making through the delivery of timely, accurate financial information with succinct written, numerical, and graphical analysis and recommendations that come from comprehending all the services and programs offered;
- Demonstrate proactive leadership that meaningfully engages with each employee, by exhibiting high emotional intelligence, maturity, genuine care, and technical expertise;
- Working as a business partner across the organisation, facilitate Board presentations, written reports, and associated analysis and tracking of all activities, in an easily understood format to generate open and transparent discussions as to the assessment of all programs and services;
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset aimed at finding better ways to deliver services and programs, reducing costs, enhancing cash management strategies, and enabling investment in critical areas and research;
- Leading a finance team who immerse themselves in operations, thereby enhancing relationships, operational knowledge, and the production of high-quality information; and
