The Minister and Executive Coordination Team (MECT) within Economic Development are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to lead a government services team within CMTEDD. MECT is the primary liaison point for all coordination activities across Economic Development, working closely with the Senior Executive team, the Ministers office through the DLO and with various corporate reporting areas. To undertake this role, you will have a sound understanding of ACT Government processes, including Cabinet and Assembly activities, briefing, correspondence and reporting protocols.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 05 July 2024 to 28 February 2025, with the possibility of extension and or permanency. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. This position is in an activity-based working (ABW) environment. Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk. The team currently works flexibly from home and in the office to suit operational requirements.
