Randstad Health and Social Care have partnered with RDNS Silverchain a leading in-home health provider in South Australia to support the recruitment of this exclusive role.
The Director of Health Services plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of a wide range of community health care services throughout South Australia. As a key member of the RDNS Silverchain SA leadership team, the Director of Health Services contributes to the development and implementation of the strategic vision. Additionally, the Director of Health Services oversees risk management and actively works to build and maintain the necessary capacity, compliance and capability within SA Health Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that Health Services are of high quality, safe, and compliant with policy, legislation, and health accreditation standards.
- Identify and manage risk across all Health Services, contributing to the development and review of quality improvement guidelines and governance requirements in the state.
- Ensure the delivery of effective service provisions, including:
- Financial sustainability and productivity performance
- Develop and lead high-performing teams, ensuring accountability to role expectations, providing coaching and mentoring to staff.
- Ensure that services meet contractual and compliance obligations.
- Support out-of-hours operational escalation calls, as required.
- Develop key relationships and seek opportunities to influence and partner with relevant health industry and government organisations, further strengthening our position as a trusted health provider.
- Oversee the management, stakeholder relationships and KPI requirements for all health service contracts in South Australia
About you
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Comprehensive experience leading Health Services in a large organisation.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic direction and initiatives to support the delivery of high-quality services
- Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments with high-priority and time-sensitive service delivery requirements.
- Experience in service planning and establishing new programs for the benefit of the community and health partners.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability and experience in commercial awareness, effective and efficient management of physical and financial resources, and business performance reporting to ensure sound decision-making.
