Your opportunity:
Provide strategic leadership for the delivery of Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service Infrastructure and asset management services including building, engineering and maintenance, medical equipment, capital works projects, and property management to ensure compliance with policy and effectively support health service delivery. The position operates in a complex environment involving a wide range of competing priorities. The Director, Infrastructure and Assets is required to deliver high level quality information and advice in support of the functions of the Health Service Chief Executive and the Hospital and Health Board.
Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from the date of appointment up to 10th December 2026 with the possibility of an extension.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $175,712 p.a., comprising salary between $147,842 - $154,010 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (DSO2) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from the date of appointment upto 10th December 2026 with the possibility of an extension.
