The Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits an innovative and talented Director of Nursing with highly developed interpersonal communication skills to join the executive management team.
The role involves delivering nursing care underpinned by evidence-based practice in a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess an outcome-focused, 'continuous quality improvement' mindset and play a pivotal role in the operation of this unique private hospital.
This position is well-suited for a Clinical Nurse Manager/Nurse Unit Manager ready to step into a management role, leading and empowering an engaging team.
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess the following:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board
- 3-5 years' experience in a senior nursing or management position
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- A demonstrated history of managing and mentoring staff, reflective of a consultative leadership style
- An ability to build rapport and effective relations with key stakeholders.
- The capacity to strategically plan and positively implement change.
- A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems and the ACQSHC National Standard requirements for accreditation.
