Temporary Accountant

Position Title: Temporary Accountant
Department: Finance
Reporting to: Financial Controller
Responsibilities:

• Aid in preparing accounting information and analysis for various leadership meetings and committees.
• Assist in month-end reporting, analysis, and reconciliations, including financial schedules and commentary.
• Identify and address gaps in Business Intelligence reporting, collaborating with ERP subject matter experts to ensure reporting needs are met.
• Assist in monthly cash flow forecasts and analysis.
• Collaborate with Capital Engineering to monitor and report on capital expenditure, ensuring proper documentation and assessment against KPIs.
• Support in preparing Financial Year-end statutory account schedules and commentary.
• Assist in developing P&L and Balance Sheet support schedules.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Perform other necessary duties as required.

Knowledge and experience:

• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in senior accounting roles, preferably in printing or packaging.
• Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
• Quick learner with a willingness to assist team members and an innovative mindset.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree.
