The successful person
To thrive in this role, you must exhibit a proven capacity to apply advanced knowledge, expertise, and skills within the realm of contemporary Public Health nursing. This entails overseeing, leading, and coordinating state-wide initiatives aimed at preventing and managing the spread of communicable diseases and the ensuing long-term health consequences stemming from initial infections. Moreover, you should demonstrate the ability to swiftly respond to emergent Public Health threats of state significance, including assuming leadership roles in coordinating responses and establishing incident management teams, even outside the usual workplace and for extended durations.
Furthermore, you should highlight your proficiency as an expert resource and advocate in Public Health nursing, offering strategic advice and consultation to stakeholders across disciplines regarding communicable disease prevention and control. Your role extends to driving state-wide strategic changes through initiatives focused on quality improvement and service enhancement, all while providing professional supervision to facilitate continuous development and growth.
