The Role
An outstanding opportunity exists for a respected, passionate, and experienced leader to work as part of the Team at Immanuel Lutheran College.
To be successful, the Director of People and Culture will have a proven track record of creating, delivering and exceeding expectations in a Human Resources leadership role. They will also:
Have proven knowledge and experience in high-level management of human resources, including industrial relations, workforce planning, employee relations, diversity, risk management, strategic HR planning, performance and change management
Demonstrated effective management, leadership and team-building skills
Drive the development and implementation of a talent management system, including policies, processes and procedures
Oversee the employee lifecycle, including end to end recruitment, performance improvement, employee relations, engagement and retention
Implement additional projects and initiatives across the entire HR spectrum, in line with business growth and strategic goals of the organisation
You’re a good fit for this position if you:
Possess strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service by being responsive, empathetic and solution oriented.
Passion, vision, and an eye for detail with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Highly developed written and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise competing tasks, meet deadlines and lead teams under pressure.
Demonstrate the ability to quickly and effectively gain knowledge of systems and processes and seek opportunities to introduce efficiencies.
Proven leadership skills, including the ability to promote a positive culture, mentor and coach staff and build highly effective teams;
Value the importance of child safety and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards child abuse.
