About the Role:
As the Director of People & Culture A/NZ, you will lead an integrated People & Culture function focused on delivering best-in-class succession & capability, resourcing, learning & development, reward, employee engagement, safety & wellbeing services. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety of employees, fostering the right culture, and developing talent to meet both current and future organizational needs. You will form part of the global HR team and additionally, as a key member of the regional leadership team, you will contribute to the development of our regional business strategy and overall People & Culture strategy. This will involve travels to the sites.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute Hilton Foods' People & Culture functional strategy, ensuring effective strategy, delivery plans, and technology implementation
- Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO of APAC and Management Board Members
- Oversee the provision of shared services People & Culture functions to the APAC region of 1800 people
- Continue to develop an industry-leading People & Culture function supported by engaged teams and a strong culture, leveraging analytics, insights, and collaboration with regional operations and site directors
- Drive excellence in People & Culture shared services, health & safety, resourcing, learning & development, and business partnering
In this role we are looking for a true executive leader, who has experience working in a global business, leading a region. You come with broad HR experience across all areas, you have a passion for developing HR careers in your team and you are comfortable at the executive level and can contribute to the leadership of the region more broadly. You are commercial, strategic and enjoy and production-based environment. You are considered and consultative, with the ability to work through complexities and execute what is needed.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources leadership roles and been a member of the leadership team and advising the CEO
- Management of industrial disputes, grievances, disciplinaries, and employee litigations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
- Available for travel and monthly calls with the UK and Europe.
- experience supporting a multisite commercial business preference for Manufacturing, Retail of FMCG
