Your new role
In your role as the Director of Sales & Marketing, you'll lead the team in shaping and advancing Sales and Marketing strategies that resonate with the hotel's brand and objectives, amplifying awareness in both the local and national markets. Your responsibilities include guiding, inspiring, and motivating the Sales and Marketing team. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, advertising agencies and local communities to secure prominent exposure for the hotel.
What you'll need to succeed
We seek to appoint a skilled marketing manager with experience in the hotel or tourism sector. Your background should include successfully leading and managing sales teams with a profound understanding of marketing trends, especially in digital and social media.
- Commercial background (general management) and familiarity with developing and delivering initiatives to drive long term strategic goals.
- Strong background in balancing day to day and long-term priorities, process and creativity, margins and growth.
- Leadership experience of multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholders, leading change, cross-team collaboration, improving employee engagement.
- Strategic Planning: The ability to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the business's strategy, goals and objectives.
- Brand Management: Experience of building and maintaining strong brand identities that resonates with the target audiences.
This is a hands-on position and will require travel, so the ability to travel both internationally and domestically is crucial.
