About the Role:
Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, you will be an innovative, decisive and inspiring leader. You will establish a superior approach to sales generation and market positioning, whilst challenging and encouraging innovation. You will develop and implement strategic Sales & Marketing strategies through critical thinking ensuring they are consistent with the dynamic needs and goals of the properties.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Cluster Revenue team to ensure ongoing research and analysis of product, price, and performance metrics to drive above market performance through identification of opportunities
- Active participation in budgeting, forecasting, sales presentations and client meetings
- Driving sales for MICE, corporate, group and leisure markets to achieve the hotels budget performance
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, negotiating contracts and agreements
- Analyse market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and maximize profitability
