St Mary’s College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Wellbeing and Engagement to lead and enhance our student Wellbeing and Engagement programs.

This is a unique opportunity where you will play a crucial role in shaping a supportive and inclusive school culture. You will lead a high-performing team, collaborate with key leadership members, and implement evidence-based practices to enhance student outcomes.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced leader with a deep understanding of the integral link between student Wellbeing and learning.

Your background in restorative practices, trauma-informed care, and inclusive education equips you to handle complex student needs with empathy and expertise.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in adolescent mental health, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs of this age group.
• Demonstrated experience working with middle and secondary school students, demonstrating an ability to connect with and support students during these critical developmental stages.
• A strong track record of creating positive, respectful relationships within a school community and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional development, with the ability to mentor and coach staff effectively.
• Alignment with the Catholic Dominican ethos, dedicated to fostering an environment where all students feel valued, supported, and capable of achieving their full potential.
