An opportunity now exists for an exceptional communications leader to help curate the narrative as the Executive Director, Communications and Engagement with the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC). Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director, Communications and Engagement, will join SATC’s executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping South Australia’s tourism industry. Leading a newly formed team, this position will be responsible for events and destination PR, corporate communications, and government and stakeholder engagement, elevating internal and external communications to new levels. The successful candidate will be a charismatic leader with significant experience in curating compelling and engaging communications, which drive global reputational and brand awareness through community, industry, government, and media. Your strategic, big-picture mindset will be complemented by your political nous, strong networks, and ability to take peers and stakeholders on a journey. Experience building and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams through transformational change is essential, as is the ability to influence, inspire, and achieve great outcomes.
