This position leads the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and provides strategic direction and leadership to the business. As the Director, PMO you will:
Develop and maintain governance, risk and assurance arrangements at a portfolio, program and project level, including a robust set of processes and procedures to improve consistency of delivery.
Link organisational strategy, tactical decision making and operational delivery to improve outcomes for customers.
Lead and manage an integrated, streamlined, coordinated and quality approach to data inputs and formulation of business intelligence across QBuild that drives reporting systems development and analytical tools providing readily available, consistent and targeted performance information to enable effective decision making.

Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and maintain the integrity of high-quality business intelligence and reporting systems to assist the QBuild Board of Management to make sound business decisions based on regular monitoring and reporting on portfolio, program and project delivery.
- Provide the QBuild Board of Management with frameworks, methodologies, standards, templates and procedures to meet business objectives.
- Lead and manage QBuild's process improvement, improved system integration and increased monitoring and evaluation against a rigorous review framework.
- Provide the QBuild Board of Management with high quality portfolio, program and project reporting in relation to:
Financial and workforce variances and trends
Overall performance against identified customer and stakeholder requirements
Risk and Assurance activities
Cost and schedule performance variances for identified program and project milestones.
- Undertake strategic and specific program planning and reporting with key stakeholders and governance bodies.
- Strategically lead and manage QBuild portfolio and program benefits and risks to enhance portfolio, program and project performance.
- Provide authoritative advice, education, innovative approaches and strategies to planning, reporting and analysis for customers, stakeholders and steering committees on all aspects of QBuild's business.
- Foster a focus on continuous improvement by providing professional, authoritative and timely advice on systematic issues and risks, and recommend strategic business improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead, build, manage and maintain effective key stakeholder relationships and networks to enhance service delivery responsiveness to ensure results that enhance QBuild's reputation and image are achieved.
- Lead, promote and foster a high performing, innovative and stakeholder focussed culture within the team, consistent with departmental values.
