The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a Director, Regional Delivery to forge dynamic partnerships with Local Government, community leaders, Aboriginal communities and industry stakeholders.
The Director, Regional Delivery will work across the Hunter, New England, Northwest and Central Coast regions and will be responsible for collaborating closely with regional partners to improve community resilience before and after disasters and establish partnerships to deliver effective community centred recovery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to leverage an intimate understanding of local contexts, risks, and vulnerabilities to empower stakeholders with actionable insights, facilitating informed decision-making and seamless service delivery at both local and regional levels.
About You
We are looking for an executive with
- Experience adeptly navigating diverse stakeholder interests, fostering meaningful relationships and driving consensus to ensure effective disaster preparedness and recovery initiatives.
- A proven track record in successfully leading regionally dispersed teams.
- Extensive experience in leading teams through complex and dynamic environments and managing diverse stakeholders.
- A demonstrated understanding of engaging with Aboriginal Communities, including fostering trust, honouring traditional knowledge and adapting approaches to align with the needs and values of Aboriginal communities.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.
