The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks state-wide; builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community and delivers citizen services through Service SA.
Service SA provides customer service to South Australians including vehicle registrations and licensing for more than 1.3 million licence holders as well as a variety of other Government transactions, through a network of over 20 customer service centres across the state and online channels. In addition, it delivers the state’s Rider Safe program, for novice motorcycle riders, as well as the On the Right Track Remote program, which provides access to education and driver licenses to Aboriginal people living in remote communities.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Transport Policy and Regulation, you will lead the delivery of customer service excellence in a high-volume environment and responsible for a team of over 300 employees across both metropolitan and regional sites. Delivering digital transformation solutions designed around the customer, you will take your team on the change management journey to support programs that further improve road safety outcomes.
You will be driven by improvement, a culture of integrity and will have leadership experience managing teams of people in a highly transactional customer focused environment.
