As the Director, Workshop you will possess exceptional relationship building and people skills, and ensure the team demonstrates excellence in customer service in all interactions with relevant internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain effective partnerships.
This role provides oversight and management for all fleet maintenance related projects including procurement, implementation, and contract performance/management.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, ACT Government and JACS Directorate policy frameworks and will be required to provide high quality reporting, advice, and timely briefs to senior management on workshop operations.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
1.A ‘C’ Class Driver’s licence is essential.
2.This position requires a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
3.Previous experience in managing a fleet of vehicles, workshops and /or mechanic qualifications would be advantageous.
4.Medium or heavy rigid licence is desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available 13 May 2024 until 4 April 2025 with the Possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
