About the Job:
We are currently recruiting for a Disability Program Coordinator who will provide leadership and support to staff and oversee the Disability Services program within InComPro. This position has a particular emphasis on program growth, viability, future planning and systems improvements and will ensure the quality of services delivered are of a high standard and comply with current Legislation, NDIS Quality & Safeguards Standards, accreditation and contractual requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Understanding of the importance of the spiritual and cultural connection Aboriginal people have with their country, family and community
- Knowledge and experience in NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Legislation
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in supervision of a multidisciplinary team in a disability working environment (or relevant care industry)
- Experience in managing accommodation, respite and individualised services to people with disabilities and complex needs
- Experience in planning, developing and coordinating business plans, budgets and expenditure
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication and negotiation skills and an ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders including clients, families, staff, government agencies and other non-government organisations
- Australian full driver’s licence (unrestricted)
- Current NDIS Worker Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Check (less than 6 months old)
- Flexibility to travel between work locations including country areas
