Disability Program Leader – coordinate and lead our Disability Services Team

Our Disability Services team provides support to individuals with their personal activities, accessing their community and Supported Independent Living. This may help them to spend time with family & friends, live more safely and comfortably, gain education or employment and/or participate in their community.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated people leader to lead, guide and develop a group of passionate Disability Team Leaders (SIL & Community). By leading and coaching staff, encouraging a positive team environment with a focus on positive participant outcomes you help to ensure our NDIS participants can live as independently as possible.
About the role:
- Ensure Disability Team Leaders and Disability Support Workers provide direct care and support using a trauma-informed approach
- Mentor, coach and lead Team Leaders
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and site inductions for new staff
- Communicate professionally with families, guardians and service providers to achieve goals
- Monitor and review reports and case notes to ensure compliance obligations are met
About you:
- Certificate IV / Diploma in Disability/Individual Support or other relevant qualification and experience
- Good understanding of the NDIS environment including compliance regulations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach a team
- Current Driving Licence
