Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Daily Tasks: Helping with households such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Providing Personal Care: Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging and assisting individuals to develop skills and abilities that promote independence and autonomy.
- Implementing Care Plans: Following care plans and protocols designed for each individual, ensuring their needs are met according to their specific requirements.
Requirements:
- Mental Health Certifications or Training courses related to healthcare, social work, or Disability Support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy and compassion towards individuals requiring support.
- Previous experience working in healthcare, social services, or working with individuals with disabilities or elderly populations can be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibillity in working hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
