You Connect (YC), formally known as youth connections, is a not-for-profit organisation that supports people living with a disability, have complex behaviours and/or have mental health diagnosis that impact their day-to-day functioning. We are seeking professional Support Workers to join our rapidly expanding team.
Your Duties may Include (but not limited to):
- Assisting with medication
- Light household duties
- Mentoring
- Transport
- Community Access
- Personal Care

About You:
- Reliable, empathetic and committed to supporting vulnerable people.
- Relevant industry experience and knowledge; formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar, would be advantageous
- A comprehensive understanding of mental health issues and the challenges individuals face.
- Ability to effectively manage and deescalate heightened behaviours.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or be willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (required for paid employment)
- Police Check
- Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID011 and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance
- Nightshift (sleepover availability) would be advantageous.
