Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III in Disability/ Individual Support (preferred but not essential).
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- First Aid Certificate
- Working With Childrens Check
- Police Check
- Full Australian Drivers License
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Reliable and Punctual
- Communication and time managment skills
- A passion in helping people
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide support to clients with physical, mental and/or intellectual disabilities.
- Understand and provide appropriate care to clients with high needs who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviors.
- Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
- Work under general guidance from the person seeking support, and their family, within clearly defined guidelines.
- Support clients to develop and maintain independence.
- Support clients with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, toileting.
- Always upholding professional boundaries.
