Disability Support Worker

Brain Injury Care and Supports provide services to a range of participants across the Brisbane region, affording them the opportunity to live independently and enjoy life.

We are currently seeking workers to join us and provide excellent person-centered support services to our participants who live independently.

You will need to be available across a variety of shift times as the supports required vary each day and time.

Duties include:

Personal care-showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, medication administering and meal prep.

Light domestic assistance as required.

Social support-transportation, social activities, shopping, appointments

Supporting participants in using aids and equipment

Management of complex or challenging behaviors

Observing wellbeing, reporting their progress on shift notes

Attending staff meetings and training as required and keeping competencies up to date.

What you need to apply:

2-3 Years experience working as a Disability Support Worker

Relevant qualifications advantageous

Current First Aid/Cpr

Current NDIS Worker screening clearance, quality and safeguards commission worker orientation module

Current Australian Driver's license registered and comprehensively insured.

Smartphone with Internet access
