Qualifications & experience
- Cert III in Aged Care / Certificate III in Individual Support / Cert IV Disability or equivalent.
- NDIS workers orientation certificate & Manual Handling.
- National Police Check & Working with Children's Check.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours.
- Experience supporting clients with complex mental health needs.
- Prepared to work flexible hours within a 24/7 rotating roster, including active overnight shifts and weekend shifts.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Upholding and safeguarding trusting and meaningful working relationships with our clients, their circle of support and the wider community.
- Assisting in developing, implementing, and evaluating plans that enable our clients to set and achieve personal goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed shift reports, incidents reports ad progress notes.
