As a Disability Support Worker in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common purpose – to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

• 2x Casual roles located at the Aspendale Social Connections Day Centre
• Availability to work during the hours of Monday to Friday (9:30am to 3pm)
• Recreational swimming skills and supporting clients in their swimming activities are essential.
• Provide person-centered support that enables each client to express choice and independence in a variety of supports and recreational activities offered and during community access
• Assist clients with aspects of daily living needs while outside of their homes; including personal care, meals assistance, medications, and behaviour support
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team

We act bravely

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
• Working with Children's Check (Employee)
• Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Valid Australian Working Rights and, if applicable, an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
• Proof of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination as per Scope policy
• Cert III/IV in Individual Support/Disability (desirable)
