As a growing organisation, we have a number of roles for in-home and community-based Disability Support Workers. We are looking for team members with previous Disability Support experience (including Behaviours of Concern Support, Complex Needs Support, Capacity Building Support and Personal Care), but we are also open to applications from those who will fit in with our culture, have transferable skills, are willing to learn and give things a go as well as a genuine interest in making a difference.
The services we provide to support Participants with disabilities (at various levels of complexity and age groups) are focussed on meeting the identified goals of the individual whilst promoting choice and control. These services range from Complex Needs and Behaviours of Concern support, including personal care and manual handling, through to Social Groups, Community Participation and Employment Transition activities. We provide relevant training and support appropriate to the individuals we support and your current skill level, so anyone with a willingness to learn about and support our participants' needs will also be considered.
The most important thing to us, is that you are someone who fits in with the values and vision shared by our Participants, their support network and our team! At Bunji we value Trust and Respect, Collaboration and Teamwork, being Outcomes-focussed, Innovative and Proactive.
We are looking for people who can work consistent but flexible hours that suit our Participants. Generally hours are between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, but may also include evenings and weekends where needed.
