About the role: We are looking for an Operator Labourer to join the Waste and Recycling Team on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities:
Operate plant machinery including excavators, loaders, backhoes, and skid steers
Assist with Waste and Recycling operations
Perform general labour tasks as required
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals
About you: To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Essential:
MR Truck Licence
At least one of the following tickets: Excavator, Loader, Backhoe, or Skid Steer
Plant operation experience
Experience in physically demanding roles
Strong initiative and a can-do attitude
Desirable
White Card
Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM) certification
First Aid Certificate
Training in asbestos or hazardous waste removal
Previous council experience
Experience in waste or civil infrastructure maintenance

Work Hours: Start at 07:00am, Finish at 16:00pm (First day start time 08:30am)
