About the Role

Due to continual ongoing growth we continue to seek Direct Support Workers, we have been successful in recruiting many superstars, however we are looking to fulfil more hours and we need you to join us on the journey to support our participants.

DSWs play a crucial role in providing essential services to individuals funded under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and their dedication helps improve the lives of those with disabilities.

The NDIS's approach of investing in people with disabilities early in life to improve their long-term outcomes aligns with a proactive and caring approach.

In your role the day-to-day will vary as per the participant’s requirements but may include the following.

• Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Certificate III Individual support; or
• EN/RN training/certificates; or
• Experience supporting a person/s impacted by mental health disorders or disability
• Physically capable to attend personal care to participants as required
• Current First-Aid and CPR certificate

Requirements

• Current valid Driver’s Licence
• Current NDIS Screening Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Right to Work within Australia
• Current Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance (for participant transportation)
• Physically capable to attend personal care to participants as required

We have a diverse client base across the region that require a range of supports with shifts across 24/7, shifts include:

• Active as well as inactive night (suited to people that study) shifts.
• Day and afternoon shifts. 
• Shifts in a residential housing setting.
