'The Manor " is a new SIL home for NDIS participants located in Shanes Park NSW. The Manor is on 5 acres and a has fulltime residents living and also does provide respite for any participants in need of short term accommodation . The Manor provides 24 hour care and will staff the house according to the individual clients needs .
Qualifications & experience
- Reporting and excellent communication skills required as detailed progress notes and medication charts are required to be filled out every shift.
- Manual Handling skills
- Bowel care and peg management skills .
- First aid certificate required
- Working with children check required .
- NDIS orientation models will be required to be completed
Tasks & responsibilities
- Supported Independent Living Home caring for multiple clients with a variety of high complex needs
- Administering of medications, peg feeding , bowel care , depending on individual client needs .
- Cleaning and washing and upkeep of the SIL house .
- Food Preparation and feeding of clients dependant on individual needs
- Personal Care of each individual client including hoisting and transfers .
- Accessing the community with clients when they need to and joining in group activities .
- Reporting on each individual client keeping detailed shift notes .
- Working as a team within the home supporting other Support Workers and residents .
