Disability Support Worker - Blackstone

Your Role at Nextt:
At Nextt, our Disability Support Workers play a pivotal role in organising and executing daily activities for our clients, which includes providing personal care, assistance with domestic tasks, and facilitating community access.
 
We currently have a vacancy in the Blackstone Region of Brisbane for a Male Casual Disability Support Worker working with our client. 

About the role
This role is working with our male client in his 50s living with an ABI, he lives in his family home with his wife and his interests are museums, vintage cars, planes, and gardening.  This role will involve community access for the client so a licence and fully insured vehicle is required.

Shifts
We have a range of casual shifts available working across morning, afternoon and evenings during the weekdays and weekends.  We are looking for staff with at least 3 to 4 days availability.

 Your Skills and Experience:

• SWs experienced in ABI, RPs, and PBSP is ideal but not mandatory. 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and management staff 

Your Certificates and Licences:

• NDIS check/Yellow Card - must be current
• Blue Card - must be current
• First Aid and CPR Certificate - must be current
• NDIS Certificate - Quality, Safety and you
• Australian Driver's License and access to a fully insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance only, third party will not be accepted)
