We have casual positions available right now forDisability Support Workers and Community Care Workers based in the Gold Coast regions.
About the role
- Opportunities available for support in SIL arrangements and also in community runs encompassing personal care, social support, and domestic assistance.
- Work on a 24-hour care model with varied shifts: morning (from 6 am), afternoon (from 2 pm), and sleepovers.
- Assist participants with personal activities, including hygiene, medication, manual handling, domestic tasks, and meals.
- Support clients with challenging behaviours using specific Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP).
- Help participants engage in community, social, and recreational activities.
- Provide support in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Use a company or personal vehicle for participant transportation to community outings.
About you
- Experience in disability care or holding a Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care.
- Be eligible to work in Australia.
- Current "C" class Qld driver's license
- A roadworthy, registered, and insured vehicle
- Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current National Police check
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Covid 19 Vaccination
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate "Quality, Safety and You"

- Casual position with consistent hours & routine rosters however, to supplement consistent shifts staff ideally should be available to be pick up backfill shifts.
- For community runs, distance in between clients are reimburshed.
