A vehicle will be provided by LAAS, further opportunities may arise for additional hours within LAAS including Supported independent living and day options.

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Community Support Workers to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, providing essential support with daily living skills while fostering independence. If you thrive on challenges, have a positive attitude, and respect our clients' individual choices and decisions, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with essential daily living tasks, including personal care.
- Provide domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Offer emotional and friendship support to clients.
- Transport clients to and from services and activities.
- Encourage client empowerment and self-confidence.
- Support participants with complex or challenging behaviors and needs.
- Maintain detailed progress notes for clients.
- Participate in staff meetings and attend required training
Qualifications and Requirements:
NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory).
Certificate III or IV in Individual or Disability Support (or willingness to obtain).
Current First Aid/CPR certification.
Current South Australian driver's license.
Experience in supporting clients with complex behaviors is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
