AddressOur client requires a team of committed, experienced, female Support Workers to provide support within her family home. The role involves support in areas of personal care tasks, assistance with mealtimes, basic household tasks and in-home recreation & leisure.
This role requires Support Worker availability for active overnight shifts commencing from 3.00pm across all days of the week, including weekends.
This role will suit someone who would enjoy being an integral part of our clients life in her family environment, working closely with her dedicated parents to ensure all her support needs are met. In-home training will be provided.
Our rosters are published 4 weeks in advance and we value committed and loyal staff.
Essential Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience (6+ months), knowledge and understanding of people living with intellectual and complex physical disabilities
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience providing respectful supports within a person's home
- Manual Handling including supporting the use of wheelchair and hoist
Plus Mandatory:
- Accredited Certificate in Individual Supports/Disability/Community services
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid including CPR
- Valid Driver's Licence & Vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Training
- Manual Handling Training
- Food Safety Training
