Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Do you have a heart for helping others and a desire to support those in need? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team!
We are growing rapidly and looking to build a Floating Casual Pool of incredible Disability Support Workers for our amazing Happy Humans. You will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and assistance to individuals with disabilities and special needs, helping them to achieve their goals and empowering them to live fulfilling and independent lives.
About Us
The Happy Human Hub is often described as ‘a place like no other’. Located in Lake Macquarie, the Hub is a place of connection and community - somewhere Happy Humans truly like to hang out.
We are passionate about doing it differently and breaking the common ideals of disability care options by giving the participant the choice of incorporating fun games and educational learning into their day program activities. By making education fun, we are finding that participants are continuing their learning without even knowing it and having fun while doing it!
We provide a range of services from Individual and Group Day Supports and Personal Care Programs, to some seriously fun after-school and school holiday programs. We organise outings and Special Events and host our popular Hub Crawl for 18+ weekly on a Thursday night.
The Happy Human Hub supports participants 7yrs - young adults with a range of disabilities, neurodiverse and special needs, including non-verbal, complex behaviours supported 1:1, 2:1 or group.
We are looking for Support Workers who think and work outside the box - individuals who have a genuine passion, care, and personal drive to help people achieve their goals.
