About the role
Experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers required for our Florence Street Glen Waverly supported accommodation residence. Our DSW’s provide high quality personalised care to people living with disability empowering them to live the life of their choosing in a residential setting.
You will join a friendly, passionate team to support residents and their families’ providing care and arranging outings to ensure a positive environment for all.
About you
You will be an experienced DSW with the flexibility to work morning, afternoon and weekend shifts to provide care to residents with a disability.
To be successful in this role you will require
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
- Passion for providing ‘person centred care’
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Current full Victorian Driver licence
- NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Flexibility to work a roster Monday – Sunday both morning afternoon and weekend shifts
