AddressMature male Disability Support Workers are needed to work with a mature male living with complex psychosocial disabilities. As Monday - Friday supports are required, a small team is necessary who will:
- Build a relationship of trust with the client
- Provide community access including grocery shopping and recreational activities
- Support client with appointments
- General domestic duties such as meal preparation
- Medication management
To be part of the team, you will need:
- Ideally aged 40+
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Good understanding of professional boundaries
- Prior experience in similar role - Mental Health experience
- Certificate 3 in Disability or Individual Support
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current National Police Check / relevant clearances
- Completed NDIS Code of Conduct modules
- Current Drivers License
- Fully insured vehicle
Due to the support needs of our client, the desired team members will be mature men with life experience.
There will be 3-4 hour shifts each weekday afternoon.
