About the role
Passionate Disability Support Workers required for our resident accommodation home located in Lilydale . The DSW will provide high quality personalised care to our residents living with a disability, empowering them to live the life of their choice in a residential setting.
You will be working within a friendly, passionate team to support clients and their families’ providing care and arranging outings to ensure a positive environment for all.
About you
You will be an experienced Disability Support Worker who enjoys working in an accommodation home supporting residents with disability. You will be available for a range of morning, afternoon, and sleepover night shifts weekdays and weekends.
Role requirements
- Certificate IV Individual Support or Disability
- Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
- Passion for providing ‘person centred care’
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current full Victorian Driver licence
- NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Ability to work a roster week days, weekends, morning, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.
