Disability Support Worker

Your Role
As a Disability Support Worker at Quaran Care you will be responsible for providing high quality care to our clients living with a variety of disabilities while in their homes and accessing the community. There will be clients who need personal care support, respites and a range of other support services. Shifts available immediately in Mount Gambier and Woodville in Adelaide. Short and long shifts available.

Locations - Adelaide and Mount Gambier

Your Duties

• Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living
• Manual handling and medication administration 
• Community Access and emotional support
• Building rapport with the client and their families
• Adhering to the participants care plan and NDIS frameworks
• Respecting worker client boundaries

Requirements for this Role

• Experience assisting with ADL's
• Manual handling and medication experience
• Working with children check or NDIS workers check 
• Current Police Check, First Aid and CPR certificate
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and sites
• Unrestricted driver’s licence
• NDIS and Covid 19 modules
• Certificate in Medication Administration
• Certificate III IS, Aging or Community Services
