As a Disability Support Worker you will:
Work within the community and/or our Support Independent living properties to assist with individual needs and support of our participants which may include:
- Personal care, including personal hygiene and toileting
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Administration
- Manual Handling
- Community and Social participation
- Transport
- Capacity building and assistance to achieve personal goals
- Domestic duties such as household cleaning, vacuuming, laundry etc.
- Maintain meaningful communication using participants preferred communication methods
You will also be required to complete administrative tasks which may include:
- Documenting shift notes and communication
- Responding to emails and written correspondence
- Completing incident reports

What we need from you
- Drivers Licence and an insured, reliable motor vehicle
- National Police Check
- Working with Vulnerable Persons check (child- related activity and NDIS Screening Tool)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Ability to work across a seven day roster including morning, afternoon, evening, sleepover, and active nights
- Experience in the Disability sector will be considered favourably
- Successful applicants will be required to undertake a medical assessment before commencement
