Form of workWe are looking for dedicated Qualified Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL)Home.
- Mon - Fri & Weekend services
- Availability from 6:30am (weekdays) and sleepovers
- Central Broadbeach location
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service
About you:
- Caring, compassionate & friendly
- Reliable & dependable
- Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
- Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
What you will need:
- Experience in understanding Disability
- Hold a Certificate III or IV Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
- Manual Handling and assist clients with medication (HLTHPS006) required
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access
- Current Working with Children Check
