Disability Support Worker - Hornsby and North Shore

Hourly Rate: $32.21 + 25% loading for casuals (plus shift penalties where applicable)
Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging options available for all staff (up to $15,900/pa)

About the roleWe are looking for several motivated, innovative, and creative people to provide support to a lady with an intellectual disability living in her own home in the Hornsby area. The lady is very sociable and is looking for a person who resides locally and can provide support to her to connect and be involved in her local communities.
She also requires support with her household tasks , meal preparation, transport, shopping and other daily living activities.
Applicants can be male or female but must be reliable and friendly with a positive attitude and ability to problem solve. The successful candidates will also have the ability to motivate and provide a positive influence in our client's life. Experience with mental health is highly regarded.
Shifts fall Thursday to Tuesday between 9am and 3pm and between 11am and 5pm on Wednesdays.

All staff are required to hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/Full) and a First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one). Our ideal candidate must be willing to utilise public transport and occasionally have the willingness to use their own vehicle for work.
As we work with vulnerable people, the successful candidate will also be required to undergo a NDIS worker screening check.
