We are currently looking for applicants to join us as a Disability Support Worker and Youth Mentors to provide quality support for people who are living with a disability.
As a Support Worker and Mentor, you would be responsible for supporting our participants by following their support plan, communicating respectfully with all individuals and helping to promote their independence. To work with us, you need to be motivated, reliable and professional with a passion for working in the disability sector. At Jaybelle Care, the relationships between Support Workers/Mentors and participants are the most important factor. We want to ensure participants feel safe, confident and capable to make choices and express themselves.

Requirements
- Certificate 3 in Disability/Individual Support/Community or higher or 1-year equivalent experience
- NDIS Worker's Screening Check or willingness to apply
- A motor vehicle driver's license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Compliance with the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Compliance with the Working with Children's Check (if applicable to your role)
- Proof of citizenship or working visa
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
- A passion for working with people with a disability, with the ability to promote and foster their independence
Hours/Location
Your employment would be on a casual basis, as required. We are looking for staff who are flexible and able to cover shifts 7 days a week, with a variety of start and finish times. We work all across the Central Coast. We try our best to work with shifts that fit with our staff and provide opportunities for these to become set shifts within your roster for consistency and stability.
