What We are looking for:
We are currently looking to put together a strong team of individuals that are willing to go above and beyond for our community, each other and our clients. We specifically are looking for FEMALE staff. A background in working with High Behavior clients and mental health will be beneficial to your role. You will also be required to drive and thus a current driver's license is also essential.
Responsibilities of the role
1. Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centered programs and engagement.
2. Creative and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds, gender expressions, personalities and culture.
3. Utilizing positive behavior strategies, person-centered approach & a trauma informed lens
4. Assist and support clients with personal, hygiene care, meal preparation, medication management, community access and appointments
5. Maintenance of progress notes and good record-keeping
6. Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills
7. Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
8. Have the ability to support others with personal care and domestic duties in a respectful way.
