Finding Yellow is looking for experienced Support Workers for our existing and expanding services for immediate start. We are looking for people who are passionate about making a difference, committed to working in a team environment and have experience supporting people with a disability to achieve their goals and live their best life.
Right now we need to strengthen our team and require staff who are flexible and responsive to changing operational needs, are willing to do shift work including active overnight shifts, availability for some weekend work and last minute/emergency work where required, across our Accommodation and Community Services.

We need you to have:
- Flexibility across service types and settings
- Experience working with people with a disability across supported independent living/accommodation, group or individual programs and individual supports
- Experience supporting people with complex needs
- Readiness to support a variety of shift types (day, afternoon, evenings, active night and weekend)
- Availability for a variety of shifts each week including those requested with limited notice
- Willingness to accept varying shift lengths dependent on client needs from two - eight hours in duration.
Desired skills, education and experience
- Qualification(s) Certificate III of IV in Disability, Aged Care and/or Individual Support (or a willingness to enrol within first 6 months of commencing role)
- A commitment to support and promote individual needs and the personal goals of people living with disabilities
- Knowledge of the NDIS, the regulatory framework and practice standards
- Works within person centered approaches and promotes the importance of choice and control
- Computer literacy, including a working knowledge of client management software
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
- Driver’s license, comprehensively insured motor vehicle, Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening Check.
On Offer
Casual work is available with an attractive hourly rate aligned to the SCHADS award; consisting of base salary plus 11% superannuation. Internal expressions of interests being offered twice a year for those wanting to transition from casual to part time (operational requirements permitting). Being a not-for-profit we also offer a variety of Salary Packaging options to both our permanent and casual staff.
