We are currently seeking a Dispatch Coordinator based at Heathwood, QLD Reporting to the Operations Manager.
Working closely with our projects and operational teams, the Dispatch Coordinator will ensure the safe performance & coordination of our dispatch function by planning and scheduling daily deliveries in line with the requirements of project deadlines.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are prioritised and implemented in all tasks related to the loading, unloading and delivery of products on outbound carriers, including the application of CRH’s 16 Lifesaving Rules
- Planning, scheduling, and the dispatch of all outbound and inbound freight to and from our production site
- Monitoring, assessing, and adjusting costs of freight related to the site to ensure both the cost-effective and timely freight requirements of the site.
- Assist in the ad hoc sourcing and negotiation of new carriers, when required.
- Creation of loads for dispatch, final inspection of outbound freight to ensure accuracy and safety and sign off dispatch of carriers from site.
- Communicating and confirming planned deliveries with all customers
- Communicating obstacles and challenges in the timely delivery of products with both internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying, reporting, and assisting in the planning of the maintenance and repair of lifting equipment as required
- Assisting in the ongoing management of accurate inventory management by participating in stocktake and goods returns as required.
Key Requirements:
- A demonstrated track record in upholding the highest standards of health and safety.
- An understanding of best practices in the coordination of freight and logistics within the manufacturing or construction industries
- A demonstrated ability to plan and manage complex delivery schedules.
- A demonstrated understanding of the need for flexibility within a plan
- A calm and considered demeanour that seeks to engage with stakeholders on complex matters of planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and obstacles to success.
