Dispatch Manager

As we head into further exciting global growth, we are looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager to manage our daily dispatch activities across local and international D2C and B2B markets. 

As the Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a small dispatch team (3-10 people) and constantly improving dispatch processes to consistently enhance customer experience.

The Role

• Oversee and manage all dispatch activities across D2C and B2B platforms globally 
• Managing a small dispatch team, work collaboratively toward business goals
• Report on team performance, learnings and any other data points that are critical to improving the customer experience  
• Champion safety and best practices in the workplace
• Provide the highest level of customer service
• Liaise with various stakeholders in the business

About you

• You will be an energetic self-starter who lives and breathes all things warehouse operations
• You will be a hands-on leader, great with empowering and mentoring a team
• Proven background in a similar role 
• Great problem-solving skills 
• Ability to analyse KPIs to use these as drivers for improvement
• Knowledge of dispatching methods, procedures, and transportation management systems to prioritise delivery schedules effective
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with the TSC wider team, customers, and vendors 

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in Dispatch Management
• Experience with warehouse management and inventory systems
• Experience with CIN7 and Starshipit highly regarded
