SalarySMAART Recruitment has partnered with a global footwear and lifestyle brand to find the best Senior Distribution and Logistics Coordinator Melbourne has to offer.
Due to changes in the APAC region, they require a Coordinator to join their team and contribute to their future growth plans.
You will be the go-to person on-site at their distribution center in Truganina.
The role entails managing the distribution process and stock levels for Australia. You will collaborate with international teams, 3PL partners, and national distributors, including David Jones, MYER, and small independent surf and skate shops.
As the primary point of contact for all stock and distribution matters, effective communication and attention to detail are crucial.
Here's what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
- 2-3 years of experience in Fulfilment, Logistics, and Distribution (Preferably in retail, apparel, footwear, or FMCG)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle daily/weekly reports
- Previous experience in freight processes, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution is essential
- Experience in managing returns from both wholesale and e-commerce channels
- Can conduct inventory audits and SOX control management
