Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Reporting to Head of Plant Supply Chain Management, ensuring SCM strategy is aligned with the business requirements.
- Responsible for SKU parameterization of 6000 SKU’s handled in DC’s based in Melbourne and Perth.
- Responsibilities for master data within the SAP ERP system.
- Utilize inventory tools and techniques ABC XYZ to ensure right sizing of inventory availability in line with budget.
- Responsible for the measuring and reporting of the supply base performance for on time delivery.
- Build relationships with external suppliers, manufacturing plants and internal departments working collaboratively on achieving the Supply Chain requirements.
- First level of escalation for shortages and expediting resolution and recovery.
- Lead Supply Chain performance improvements projects, working with the Suppliers on root cause countermeasures and action plans.
- Ensure freight partners and customs brokers being used are in line with Global agreements and correct documentation is available.
- Support Centre-led Purchasing and SCM teams.
- Utilize the SIOP data to provide Suppliers with a forecasted demand profile, identifying and escalating risks in supply.
- Manage the execution and transition of change requirements, balancing inventory levels and minimizing obsolescence.
- Manage the slow moving and obsolete inventory, identifying methods of use to reduce.
- Accountable for Supply Chain metrics, performance, and root cause countermeasures for OTIF, Inventory Turns & SCM cost.
- Responsible for reducing external storage and premium freight costs.
Core Competencies
- Performs all types of transactions and resolve complex issues in order transactions.
- Understands how to define inventory parameters Lead time, SS, RP, ABC XYZ analysis and selects a relevant inventory management strategy at an SKU level. Ensures alignment to parameters and setting system accordingly.
- Addresses non-performance of external and internal resources. Ensures execution of OTD improvement tasks.
Qualifications & Technical knowledge:
- Graduate in SCM/Business (desirable).
- 5 to 8 years of experience.
- Proven experience in practicing Inventory Management and Supply chain tools & techniques.
- Strong data analysis and ERP subject matter expert.
- Use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point.
Personal Specification. - Excellent relationship management, with the ability to work Autonomously.
- Good organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Able to think strategically and translate the strategy into operational performance.
- Able to collaborate with other functions to ensure understanding of project specifications and business needs.
- Experience of leading change and delivering results.
Additional information
Preferably with MM Knowledge of SAP.
Preferred having working experience in a multi-cultural and international environment.
